Listowel is getting a boost from the Connecting Links program to support the resurfacing of Mitchell Road South on Highway 23.
MPP Matthew Rae announced the provincial funding to the tune of $1.04 million from the program which helps maintain vital roads and bridges which connect our communities.
In a release Rae says maintaining and building new roads are essential to connecting our rural communities.
This year Ontario is investing $30 million in 21 projects to repair roads and bridges in 19 municipalities across the province.
