Today kicks off the Listowel Agricultural Society Fair.
The fair is annually held at the Listowel Fairgrounds and runs all weekend.
Starting off today the Listowel Fair has their ag hall open to exhibits, then tonight at 5pm the midway opens. Following that at 7pm will be the opening night parade, ceremonies, and ambassador competition on the main grand stage.
On Friday and Saturday and Sunday, admission from 9-4 is free, after 4pm adults are 10 dollars, children 6-12 are $5 and 5 and under is free.
The beef show is held on Friday, as well as beverage tents and the truck pull.
Saturday will be “Kids day at the fair” with a day of kids programs.
Saturday will also be the vintage farm show, tractor pull, entertainment and more.
The fair will come to an end for this year on Sunday with the western horse show, more midway action, ax throwing, and the demolition derby.
