Huron-Bruce MPP and Agriculture Minister Lisa Thompson has announced the province’s commitment to giving Farm and Food Care Ontario over $527,200 over the next three years.
This new level of funding will go towards supporting various programs and activities done by the organization which are all designed to raise awareness and support Ontario farmers and food producers.
Funding will support the FFCO’s Break on and from the farm events, tours for culinary students, photography and videography work which showcases seasonal agricultural work as well as the Garden in a Box program.
