Lions Clubs across the area have banded together, supporting the new Saugeen Hospice in Walkerton.
The Neustadt Lions club are among those clubs who took proceeds raised from the 50th annual Lobsterfest to support the hospice of $5000 in addition to the $35,000 towards cuddle beds.
Further the Lions club donated $10,000 to the Hanover Fluoroscopy Campaign, Durham X-Ray Suite and Walkerton X-Ray Suite.
The Lions say without the public attending their events from dinners and bbqs this support would not be possible.
