According to a new poll done by Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal party hold a lead among political parties if an election were to be held.
This comes as more increased talks of an election call potentially in the coming weeks or month.
The survey shows 29 per cent of those polled said they would vote Liberal, followed closely by the Conservatives at 24 per cent. The NDP sit behind at 16 per cent while Bloc Quebecois hold at 7, the Green party with 4 per cent and the Peoples Party of Canada hold 3 per cent.
The survey done from July 30th-August 1st polled a total of 2079 Canadians and cannot be assigned a margin of error as internet based polls are not considered random samples.
