Starting next week, Leslie Motors across each of their locations are joining Ford Canada as part of a food drive and keep their donations local.
The Fill a Ford Food Drive kicks off on September 15th until the 25th everyone is welcome to bring non perishable food items to support each local food bank in the communities where Leslie Motors operates in Harriston, Walkerton and Wingham.
Lisa Leslie, Manager at Leslie Motors says these food drives are coming in at a good time when little relief is happening at grocery stores.
“The price of food is extensive. I heard a story about a mom who took her kids to the grocery stores and she was struggling to make ends meet and the kids were looking over all the fancy things and wanting things to buy and she had to say no she could hardly afford the basics let alone the extra treats they were wanting.” said Leslie.
Donations will be accepted at each dealership during regular business hours.
