Fund named after longtime Wingham residents

A new support fund for residents in Wingham has been released.

The Leland and Thora Vance Fund has been invested in the community with a total of $7 million dollars.

Every year the income on the fund will be distributed to provide assistance for groups and organizations in the fields of education, healthcare, recreation and Christian churches.

The fund, Leland and Thora Vance is named after long time Wingham residents who owned Vance’s Pharmacy for over 40 years.
