Knollcrest Lodge to Receive Provincial Funding

Funding will go towards upgrades and repairs

Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton will be receiving up to $818,205 in one time federal and provincial funding for building upgrades.

The funding is part of the $100 million investment to install heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems as well as retrofits or repairs to fire sprinkler systems in 95 long term care homes in Ontario.

MPP for Perth-Wellington, Randy Pettapiece says he was pleased with the funding for Knollcrest, adding we’re very fortunate to have Knollcrest and many other homes in the region providing exceptional care.

Knollcrest will use the funding for upgrading heating, ventilation, air conditioning, maximizing infection prevention and control, replacing windows and doors and installing a new fire sprinkler system.
