A 26 year old from Kincardine has plead guilty to a fatal crash which occurred last November.
West Grey Police responded to a call about a stolen pickup on November 7th.
The truck was seen driving at speeds of 150km per hour and when the driver had run over a tire deflation device, it struck a car traveling in the opposite direction which killed a 40 year old male and serious injuries to a 14 year old girl and the 26 year suspect.
Jeremy Hogg was charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death, 2 counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and Robbery and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
Hogg plead guilty in court and was sentenced to 7 years in prison, 9 months of pre-sentence custody as well as a lifetime firearms ban.
Hogg also has been given a 20 year driving prohibition and a court ordered DNA sample.
The Special Investigations Unit earlier concluded its investigation on a police officer who had deployed the spikes, saying they had found no reasonable grounds to believe the officer had committed a criminal offence.
