Wellington North council was paid a total of $130,989.42 in 2025, a slight drop when compared to number in 2024.
As part of the Municipal Act, a council remuneration report is required to be shared every year.
In the report its noted Mayor Andy Lennox made $35,220.78 followed by Councilor Sherry Burke at $25,171.19.
Councilors Lisa Hern, Steve McCabe and Penny Renken all made totals in the $23,000 range.
These numbers include council per-diem, benefits, coverage for conventions and seminars, computer and travel expenses.
