Jim Bauer has been named as West Perth’s Senior of the Year.
The award is given every year to recognize a senior who enriches the community after the age of 65.
Bauer who was born and raised in West Perth, the municipality says Jim’s life is a true testament to the hard work, dedication and community spirit.
Jim worked as a machinist in Stratford and helped to build a 22,000 square foot automotive business in Brodhagen who is also involved with local service clubs and the Brodhagen Chamber of Commerce.
The municipality says Jim always has led by example.
