Jason Benn has been named the next Fire Chief of Centre Wellington.
Benn took the role on Monday who brings in over 25 years of dedicated service in the fire sector including 18 years in senior leadership roles.
Most recently serving as Deputy Fire Chief – Fire Prevention and Public Education with Centre Wellington Fire Rescue, Benn has provided leadership within fire suppression, prevention, investigation, public education and emergency management.
Centre Wellington Mayor Shaun Watters says Chief Benn’s extensive experience, leadership and dedication to public safety makes him an excellent choice to lead the fire department.
