With January being Alzheimer’s Awareness month it is the month the Society encourages everyone in Canada to learn more about dementia and it’s devastating impact that it has on the over half million Canadians living with the disease or another form of dementia.
The ways in which you can play a part the organization says is first to connect with your local Perth County Alzheimer Society, learn more about the sigma against dementia, read stories of people with lived experiences, share your story if you or someone you love has experiences with dementia and support other initiatives aimed at raising awareness.
