The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance recently released a video tour of one of the hospitals critical care units and a tour of the ICU which showcases the impacts COVID-19 has had on hospitals.
Newly constructed anti-rooms in units to help protect workers from those being cared for from the virus.
Dr. Ali Kara with the Stratford General Hospital says its disheartening to see the ages of those who are being treated.
“These are young folks. Their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s with illness in which we have a preventable intervention for.” said Kara.
