Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington saw a notable increase in tips to their program in 2025.
Crime Stoppers saw 768 tips be recieved last year, this is an increase of 100 than the 668 tips received in 2024.
With this information, there was four arrests, the same as 2024 with seven cases cleared up from five and 14 charges laid.
The program reported $76,000 in drugs, personal property and case seized through investigations.
The total since 1977 is now at $39.8 million recovered thanks to information provided by the public to Crime Stoppers.
