Wellington County OPP were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision on September 24th at approximately 1 am after receiving reports of a single vehicle collision.
The crash happened on Wellington Road 7 Alma in the Township of Mapleton. The driver had struck a hydro pole.
OPP, Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics responded. After speaking with the driver officers formed the opinion that the driver was impaired. They were taken to local hospital as a precaution.
A 35 year old female of Allenford has been charged with impaired operation and is scheduled to appear in a Guelph Court on October 22nd.
