The Technical Training Group in partnership with the Avon Maitland District School Board are taking applications for a Skilled Trades training program set to get under way next month in Listowel.
Those Huron Perth residents between the ages of 16 and 25 looking to learn in the fields of welding and metal fabricating can apply. It is set to run from March until September with 3 to 4 afternoons per week of in-class and then in June an 8 week paid work placement.
There are 10 spots available and the application deadline is March 11th.
