Huron Perth Public Health updated their status of Covid-19 cases in the region today.
There are 8 new cases added since yesterday. This brings the total of active cases to 64.
The breakdown in Huron is 1 in North Huron and 1 in South Huron. In Perth the cases are 5 in North Perth and 1 in Perth East.
There are 3 people currently in hospital due to Covid-19
There are outbreaks in both the Listowel Memorial Hospital 2nd Floor Medicine Unit and the Medicine Unit at Stratford General Hospital. Listowel’s involves 4 patients and 8 staff. Stratford has 7 staff members staff members involved. Outbreak control measures continue to be in place at both facilities.
There is 1 outbreak at Knollcrest Lodge Long Term Care Facility. A Healthcare worker tested positive during routine surveillance.
There are no change in the number of cases related to the Cedarcroft outbreak. The total number of confirmed cases remains at 50 cases in residents and 24 in staff. There are no active cases currently at the facility.
