Huron Perth Public Health has updated the status of Covid-19 in the Region adding 36 new cases for Sunday and Monday. In Huron there are 21 in Huron East, 3 in Bluewater and 1 in ACW, Morris Turnberry and North Huron. In Perth there are 6 in North Perth, 3 in Stratford and 1 in Perth East.
Outbreaks at Long term care homes are down to 2. There is a large outbreak at Seaforth Manor in Huron East encompassing 26 residents and 4 staff.
In Perth the outbreak at Caressant Care has 26 residents and 16 staff cases currently active as of today between the Retirement Home and Long Term Care facility.
Active cases sit at 137. Deaths in the Region sit at 36.
Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reported 44 new cases from other the weekend. There are now 5 residents in hospital and 112 cases active.
