Huron Perth moves to the Yellow Level of the Covid-19 Protection Framework Monday

Moves around framework come as a result of case numbers in the areas

The Provincial Government announced today that in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer for the Province are moving 9 public health units to new levels in the framework as of first thing Monday morning.

This move includes applying the emergency brake provision in the Thunder Bay District health Unit area to move them into Grey Lockdown.

The Huron Perth Public Health Unit issued a statement shortly after the announcement where Dr. Miriam Klassen said of the move that the numbers locally have been going in the right direction, that she’s pleased with the numbers of outbreaks that have ended and hoped that the area can maintain these positive trends.

Chatham Kent, Middlesex London and Southwestern Public Health are moving to Orange.
