The Huron-Perth Childrens Aid Society is getting a boost to repair its roof.

The province is dishing out $831,000 to the Children’s Aid Society as part of the governments $25 million investment in critical infrastructure repairs this year.

Funding from the Partner Facility Renewal program supports various organizations such as shelters for women and children who have experienced or may be at risk of violence, residences that offer day-to-day support for individuals with developmental disabilities, facilities serving survivors of human trafficking.

Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says by investing in the right infrastructure, we are helping ensure this important work can continue for years to come.
