Students at St Columban and St Patrick’s elementary schools will soon be able to have access to outdoor WiFi as the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board works on a project to expand its connectivity.
The school boards outdoor WiFi pilot project will kick off next month and expand to the remainder of its schools by the end of August.
Once the connection has been established the school board will work to have outdoor WiFi at the rest of its 16 elementary schools.
The project is part of the boards 1:1 student technology deployment strategy to have technology based learning beyond the indoor classroom.
