Victim Services of Huron County has honoured local victims of homicide with memorial benches in the area.
The benches were unveiled on May 17th at the Brussels Library with three benches in place at separate locations, each with a plaque to honour victims.
The memorial benches were installed with the support of the National Victims and Survivors of Crime Week and the Canada Justice Department.
One bench can be found at the library in Brussles, another in Vanastra at Lions Park with another at the rest stop on Highway 86 in Bluevale.
