Huron County is offering its help to youth in finding summer employment.
The Summer Company program is aimed to inspire youth to choose entrepreneurship as a career and give them the tools needed to be successful, including funding for start up costs.
Genny Smith says the list of what kind of work this applies to is endless.
“Businesses from social media marketers to students doing baked goods or videography.” said Smith.
Students between the ages of 15-29 who are returning to school in the fall can register for the program by contacting Huron County Economic Development.
