Huron County OPP continue their investigation of a fiery crash that took place west of Mount Carmel yesterday afternoon. Huron OPP, Lambton County Paramedics, Grand Bend Fire and Orange Air responded to the crash site at the intersection of Mount Carmel Drive and Grand Bend Road.
Investigation has determined a compact vehicle was traveling westbound when the driver failed to negotiate a curve on the road, struck a ditch on the north side colliding with trees and catching fire.
The driver was air lifted from the crash site airlifted to the hospital and remains with life threatening injuries.
