Huron County is urging residents to be prepared for another winter ahead of them.
The County has put together a severe winter weather emergency preparedness guide to ensure residents are informed of the coming weather and have things needed in the event of heavy storms which can cause delays, power outages, hazardous driving conditions and property damage.
In the guide the County highlights to have your vehicles prepared for winter, avoid unnecessary travel during storms and to have an emergency car kit.
These kits would include goods such as food which doesn’t easily spoil like energy bars, water in plastic bottles, extra clothing, a blanket and a first aid kit.
