Huron County is speaking to the community on the topic of homelessness.
In a report to the community, Huron County has continued their support to tackling the issues of homelessness, poverty and housing instability in Huron County.
The County has kept up with a list of ways to prevent and address the issue including the launch of a new Bridge Housing and Stability Program done in part with the Canadian Mental Health Association Huron Perth Addiction and Mental Health Services.
This year round program will replace Out of the Cold which was just a winter only program.
Other topics to address the issue includes By Name List and Coordinated Access System and Prevention Programs and Financial Support.
