Huron County residents who are looking to improve and protect water quality are encouraged to apply for the Huron Clean Water Project.
The fund helps support water quality projects in the county and is one of the most successful on the ground water quality improvement projects in the province.
Funds are dished out through the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority and the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.
Funding assistance, covering up to 50% of the costs of eligible projects is awarded to Huron County farmers, landowners, businesses and community organizations.
Applications can be done from Huron County’s website.
