Huron County announced Thursday it is accepting citizen appointment applications to a few boards & committees.
The applicable groups are the Huron County Library Board, Accessibility Advisory Committee, Economic Development Board and Audit Committee.
Volunteering on the advisory board or committee the County says is an excellent way to get involved in the community and really make a difference.
Those that participate in these type of opportunities benefit in many ways including meeting new people to share ideas & talents, provide input on strategic direction setting & decision making, support local government in addressing issues and having an impact and making a meaningful difference in the community.
