The Avon Maitland District School Board has launched its 2026-2030 Strategic Plan.
The multi year plan outlines a vision where every student in every school experiences a strong, positive learning environment, sense of belonging and meaningful connection to the community.
“Our new strategic plan represents our shared commitments and highest aspirations for AMDSB students over the next four years,” said Michael Bannerman, Chair of the Board.
“By focusing on preparation, well-being, and community engagement, we are ensuring that our schools remain spaces where every child feels supported, inspired, and empowered to succeed.”
The plan runs on three core pillars including We Are Prepared – ensuring every student is learning, progressing and developing skills for future success, We Are Well – Creating safe, inclusive and supportive school environments and We Are Engaged – connecting students, families and communities to AMDSB schools through transparent communication and trusted partnerships.
