An appeal for support from the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford Perth has exceeded expectations once again.
The humane society put out a request for funds to help 8 week old Reginald, a kitten who already lost one eye and needed major surgery to live a pain free life.
Reginald was found on the side of a gravel road by a citizen and brought to the care of the humane society who was only 4 weeks old with a ruptured right eye and a painful, impaired left eye.
A request of $7500 was made but as of airtime, has reached $12,000.
The humane society says funds raised beyond the goal will go towards helping other animals in need to receive the care they deserve.
