One person has been arrested and the situation cleared after an incident in Arthur Thursday night.
Police were seen in a heavy presence around Line 16 between Sideroad 19 and Nichol-Peel Townline with officers responding to a disturbance.
Residents around the area were told to stay indoors with one person eventually taken into custody.
The scene was eventually cleared after 7pm with no threat to public safety.
