The Stratford General Hospital has been an acting site for area high school students who have been getting a head start as healthcare professionals.
The Discovery Healthcare Camp has offered local students the chance to get meaningful, hands on experience and look into career paths before exploring post secondary education.
Discovery Healthcare is a one week medical science camp organized by the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University.
The camp is led by first and second year medical students with Stratford being one of 10 communities where Discovery Healthcare is offered in Southwestern Ontario.
Dr. Shanil Narayan, Regional Academic Director for Huron-Perth, Schulich School says they are proud to showcase the multidisciplinary team that works together each day to keep the community healthy.
