The Howick Optimist Club has been the victim of theft with money and ticket stubs used in a 50/50 being taken for a members vehicle.
The club is asking for patience and understanding who are working on returning money to everyone who purchased tickets for the annual draw though most of the community has responded back saying no refund will be necessary.
The club adds they are determined to right this wrong and move forward. Anyone with information on this theft is urged to contact OPP.
