The Stratford General Hospital Foundation is celebrating the one year anniversary of the online 50-50 which has shared winnings with the public and raising funds for medical equipment.
Over the last year, $86,505 in cash been awarded with over $46,000 being raised for the hospital to support equipment at the Stratford General Hospital.
This year saw the purchase of a new point of care ultrasound for the Critical Care Unit.
Lynanne Mason, Vice-President, Partnerships, Transformation & Chief Nursing Executive of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says having access to a point of care ultrasound for the unit will give clinicians a powerful tool right at the bedside and allow them to make timely decision in critical situations.
