It was another hot month for home sales across the region with the price leaping once again.
The Huron-Perth Association of Realtors says 138 homes were sold last month, a significant drop of 11.5 per cent from the same time last year.
On a year to date basis home sales have reached 1218 units over the first 8 months of the year, down 9.8 per cent from 2022.
The price of a home is on the rise with the benchmark price of a home across the region at $576,100 but selling for $635,344, this is a leap of 7.4 per cent from August 2022.
There was a slew of new listings last month with 285 new residential listings with a total 568 units on the market at the end of August.
