It was another successful year for the Hike for Hospice for Huron Shores as the goal to raise $60,000 was smashed.
The sixth hike saw a total of $78,488.96 raised with 169 registered hikers taking part.
Shelly Parker was the highest individual fundraiser with $6,822.68 with Bruce Power among one of the major contributors.
Those who registered were invited to hike a full 5km through the trails or to get laps across the outdoor or indoor tracks available.
