The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is spraying herbicide to control Phragmites across a list of areas in Stratford.
This work is being done to protect unique ecosystems around storm water management ponds and other locations.
Signage will be in place where the spraying is taking place.
The herbicide being used is approved by Health Canada and will be applied by licensed applicators from the conservation authority.
