Hensall Co-Op reports its annual revenues exceeded $1 billion dollars in fiscal year end

The amount was a new record for an independent Canadian own Agricultural Co-op, which was founded in 1937.

 

Hensall Co-op ahead of its 85th Annual General Meeting reported its annual revenues exceeded 1 billion dollars, a new record for an independent Canadian own Agricultural Co-op.

Terry VanderWal, President of the Board of Hensall Co-Op said in the release that the buying group setup in 1937 by a group of forward-thinking farmers to benefit from undertaking commercial activities.

Company CEO Brad Chandler added that their 85th year was not an easy one, but they are pleased with their results.

He then thanked the founding farmers and the thousands of farm businesses and investors who have trusted them with their business.

They have operations spanning across 25 locations in Ontario and Manitoba.
