The family of Heidi Schlumpf are hoping to keep the #PutaKindDeedinYourFeed social media movement going following her unfortunate passing last month.

The initiative that Heidi started last year saw the sharing of details and photos of kind deeds that were done by people in the community was done in order to spread joy online.

Tyler Van Dyke, Heidi’s brother said the whole thing was just a part of who she was.

“She was incredibly kind. That is why this campaign is such a perfect fit. She was fun, and she was funny, and she was lighthearted and very enjoyable to be around. She was extremely kind.. I think that was a defining quality for her.”

Another reason by the continuation of the campaign, says Tyler, is the legacy it leaves for her children.

“I think we are asking that people post about everything. We are trying to get the awareness and content growing. We intend to save all the posts long term so they will always be available for her children to see the impact their mother has had.”
