Heat Wave Doesn’t Slow Down Community Turnout

Many gather to enjoy internationally known violinist and Listowel native, Sarah Pratt-Parsamian

A good crowd showed up to the Listowel Memorial Park Amphitheater Tuesday night to enjoy internationally known violinist and Listowel native, Sarah Pratt-Parsamian.

The show was put on by the Listowel BIA with donations being accepted for the Listowel Salvation Army Food Bank. The BIA announced they raised approximately $1000 from donations at the concert.

Sarah is a well decorated violinist having won international awards and silver at the Canadian National Music Competition.

Despite the heat warning which remains in effect across the area, many showed up and organizers were very pleased with the turnout and success of the event.
