Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae has been named as the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s 2025 Jack Graney Award.
The award is given every year to a member of the media who has made significant contributions to baseball in Canada through their life’s work.
Mae who was born in the Philippines grew up in Toronto and began her career in Toronto sports media in 2001, eventually leading to where she is today as in game reporter for the Blue Jays.
Mae says joining the distinguished group of Jack Graney Award winners has left her deeply humbled and profoundly grateful.
Details about the presentation of the 2025 Jack Graney Award will be announced in the coming months.
