Hanover Police are bringing back a program aimed to crack down on aggressive driving and loud mufflers.
Project Noisemaker kicked off May 16th and will run until September 7th with officers increasing enforcement throughout this period to address these ongoing community concerns.
Vehicle owners are encouraged to fix any modified exhaust systems and refrain from using devices which increase noise levels.
Police Chief Christopher Knoll says essentially if your vehicle is causing other to turn their heads because of the noise levels or windows to rattle as your approach and pass, expect to be stopped by police.
