A 27 year old has been charged after a compliant coming from Saskatchewan.

The caller said their credit card was used earlier in the day to purchase 8 new truck tires from a dealership in Hanover.

Police later confirmed the order by a male suspect who used stolen credit cards and said he’d be back at the dealership to complete the transaction.

On February 27th, the suspect arrived at the dealership who was arrested by plainclothes members of Hanover Police.

A search was executed on a U-Haul rental van discovering 8 tires previously purchased in Listowel and a second dealership in Elmira.

The 27 year old of Toronto has been charged with Fraud Over $5000 and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

The accused was remanded into custody.
