Greyhound Canada announced today that due to a decline in sustained ridership in Ontario and Quebec, they have made the difficult decision to discontinue operations on it’s remaining routes in the 2 Provinces effective today.
The pandemic, travel restrictions they say brought a dramatic drop of 95 percent usual volumes before they temporarily suspended operations a year ago.
The company did say they will continue it’s Canada to US services of:
- Toronto to New York
- Toronto to Buffalo
- Montreal to New York
- Montreal to Boston
- Vancouver to Seattle
Routes directly impacted are:
- Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal
- Toronto-London-Windsor
- Sudbury-Ottawa/Toronto
- Toronto-Kitchener/Guelph/Cambridge
- Toronto-Niagara Falls
- Ottawa-Kingston
All tickets purchased for travel after today will be refunded they say.
