Greyhound Canada cancels all routes and ceases service in Canada

 

Greyhound Canada announced today that due to a decline in sustained ridership in Ontario and Quebec, they have made the difficult decision to discontinue operations on it’s remaining routes in the 2 Provinces effective today.

The pandemic, travel restrictions they say brought a dramatic drop of 95 percent usual volumes before they temporarily suspended operations a year ago.

The company did say they will continue it’s Canada to US services of:

  • Toronto to New York
  • Toronto to Buffalo
  • Montreal to New York
  • Montreal to Boston
  • Vancouver to Seattle

Routes directly impacted are:

  • Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal
  • Toronto-London-Windsor
  • Sudbury-Ottawa/Toronto
  • Toronto-Kitchener/Guelph/Cambridge
  • Toronto-Niagara Falls
  • Ottawa-Kingston

All tickets purchased for travel after today will be refunded they say.
