The Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a watershed condition statement given the heavy amount of rainfall over the last week.
With more showers expected today, thunderstorms could further increase the amount of rainfall in localized areas.
Water levels and flows in rivers and streams are elevated and with more rain it will increase further.
Discharges from GRCA reservoirs are elevated particular from Conestogo Dam and Shand Dam which increase the flows in their respected rivers.
This message will stay in effect until noon on Thursday.
