The Grand River Conservation Authority will be installing warning booms and buoys upstream of dams to alert boaters, anglers and paddlers to keep away.
In a release the GRCA says dams pose a serious hazard which can result in injuries or death if the warning signs are ignored.
Installation of the booms and buoys will be between April 8th and 23rd depending on weather conditions.
The GRCA is urging all water users to heed the warnings and stay away from the dams for their own safety.
