Centre Wellington will see over $800,000 in a payment from OLG for hosting Elements Casino Grand River in Elora.
Earlier this week, OLG announced the township’s second quarter payment was sent out, totaling $809,714 to the casino.
Since the slots opened in 2003, Centre Wellington has received $37,715,818 from OLG.
Officials say payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario.
100 per cent of OLG profits are reinvested in the province says OLG officials.
