Girl Guides of Milverton is gearing up and ready to accept any girls who are looking to join and engage with the community.
Girl guides helps encourage young women to be everything they want to be while also learning more about the community and getting involved with various activities. Girl Guides has various age ranges from 5-14.
Penny Steckly, Unit Guider for the Girl Guides of Milverton says its all about discovering things young girls might not be able to see all the time.
“We’re just really passionate about making it fun and interesting and opening up to opportunities to young girls in our area about things they might not get the chance to see or do.” said Steckly.
Girl Guides will also be setup next week for Moonlight Madness to learn more about. Those wanting to register their child can visit GirlGuides.ca
